EMERGENCY RELIEF PROGRAM FOR NATURAL DISASTER AREA IN LUC YEN DISTRICT, YEN BAI PROVINCE

Implementing the 2024 Work Program of the Steering Committee for the Emergency Relief Program for Natural Disaster Areas - Project 2023.2 "Support", SCF Social and Community Fund (hereinafter referred to as SCF Fund); Based on the coordination and direction between SCF Fund, Saputo Ranch Engineering Company Limited and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Yen Bai province, Luc Yen District Education Department; on October 14, 2024, SCF Fund & Saputo Ranch organized a gift giving program in To Mau commune, Luc Yen district, Yen Bai province. 

1. At To Mau school

SCF & Saputo Ranch Foundation organized gift giving for staff, teachers and students in especially difficult circumstances, affected by storm No. 3.

Joining the working delegation, on the side of the Party Committee and local authorities, there were:

- Comrade Hoang Trung Chinh - Head of the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Luc Yen district

- Comrade Nong Thanh Son - District Party Committee member, Secretary of the Luc Yen District Youth Union

- Comrade Dinh Van Khai - Secretary of the To Mau Commune Youth Union

- Comrade Cu Ngoc Tien - Principal of To Mau Secondary and High School

Along with representatives of the To Mau Commune Government, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of To Mau Commune.

Here, SCF & Saputo Ranch Foundation presented 100 gifts (including textbooks, notebooks, pens, lamps, rice, etc.) worth 150,000,000 VND along with 01 gift for staff and teachers of To Mau Primary and Secondary School.

2. At the Emergency Evacuation Area (Muong Village, To Mau Commune, Luc Yen District, Yen Bai Province)

This is an emergency evacuation area for households that are subject to urgent evacuation due to their houses sinking, collapsing, and collapsing due to Storm No. 3. Currently, this Evacuation Area has 32 households.

SCF & Saputo Ranch Foundation presented a completed 500m long street light project (including lights, electric wires, auto-mats, lampshades, etc.) to serve night lighting, ensuring security, order, and traffic safety.
